• Qualifications: Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Post Graduate in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course & two years research experience as a JRF. Research Assistant Graduate in Science/ relevant subjects from a recognized university with three years of working experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in the relevant subject. Scientist D MD Pharmacology/ Paediatrics or MBBS with 5 years Experience or PhD. Pharmacology/ M. Pharma (Pharmacology) with 3 years experience. Scientist (Medical or Non-Medical) For Medical: MBBS Degree with two years Research/ Teaching experience/ MD in Microbiology/ Pathology from a recognized University. For Non-Medical: 1st Class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University with 2 years Research experience in virology or 2nd class Master’s Degree with PhD. in life science from a recognized University. Or BDS/ B. V. Sc. degree with one year of experience in virology. Desirable Qualification: 1-year experience in virology with research publication. Scientist C (Medical) Post Graduate degree (MD/ MS/ DNB) after MBBS with one year of experience. OR Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Subjects after MBBS with 2 years of experience. OR MBBS degree with 4 years of experience in medical subjects after MBBS degree. Desirable: 2 years experience in epidemiology/ demographic/ Disease surveillance. Scientist C (Non-Medical) 1st class Master degree in MPH(Master of Public Health)/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences subject from a recognized University with 4 years in research experience in related field Or 2nd class Master degree with PhD. in the above subject from recognized University with 4 years experience. Desirable: Additional Post-doctoral research/ training experience in Molecular Biology/ Immunology/ Microbiology. Knowledge of computer applications and data management. Technical Assistant (Statistician) Graduate in Statistics/ Biostatistics from recognized University with three years work experience from a recognized Institution OR Master’s degree in the Statistics/ Biostatistics from recognized University. Desirable: Post Graduate degree in statistics/ biostatistics. Candidates with experience and with knowledge of computer applications or data management will be preferred. Candidates’ experience/ inclination of working in rural/ tribal areas will be given preference. Technical Assistant (Research) Graduate in Biochemistry/ Nursing/ Public Health from a recognized university. 3 years of working experience from a recognized institution. OR Masters degree in Public health/ Biochemistry from a recognized university. Desirable: 3-5 years experience in research labs. Assistant (Multi-purpose) Graduate in any subjects from a recognized institution. 5 years of experience in Accounts or Administrative areas. Desirable One-year Diploma certificate in computer applications (DCA/PGDCA) from recognized institute/ board and one year experience in the office administration, purchase and stores, Finance & Accounts and maintenance typing on a computer at the speed of 35 words per minute in English (35 words per minute corresponds to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.) (Typing test will be on computer only). Technician C (Lab Technician) 12th Pass in science subjects and Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician. OR One year DMLT plus one-year required experience in a recognized organization in the relevant area. OR Two years of experience in laboratory work. Note: B.Sc. (MLT/ Nursing/ BMLT/ Life Sciences) shall be treated as 3 years experience. Desirable: Five years experience in blood drawing, ELISA/ RTPCR/ DNA Isolation, and other laboratory techniques.
